Erin Yoshimura is the Founder and Cheif Empowerment Officer of Empowerful Changes, a company that focuses on empowering clients to find their voice and stand with vigor through leadership training and coaching. Because she brings diversity to every room she enters, Erin uses her personal experiences to catalyze cultural awareness.
She's created training programs, workshops and keynotes for clients includent KUSA (Gannett), Raytheon, MillerCoors, Colorado State University, University of Colorado at Boulder, National Association of Asian American Professionals, Comcast- NBC-Universal, and Brown Forman. Erin coaches executives and emerging leaders for Los Angeles based LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacific, Inc). She created and conducts the first Emerging Leaders Program in Denver specifically designed for Asian American Pacific Islanders.
Her career before becoming a trainer and coach was in high tech, where she was an East Asian product manager, IT project manager and IT change management analyst.
Until recently, Erin served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, a 501c3 non-profit organization celebrating pan-Asian culture that is the largest dragon boat festival across the U.S.
in 2014, Erin was the first Asian American chosen for the Livingston FEllowship, a recognition awarded to executive directors of non-profit organizations in Colorado by the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation.
